This will eventually(?) be the post for the presskit for AR Gurney’s Sylvia.
How will this work? Well, anyone (with an account – like maybe the director) can come in here and post the relevant bits of the presskit – photos and captions, the program, press release, Fact sheet, etc.
They should then categorize it as “Presskit” – and also the Season and show to which it belongs.
This will allow us to do a couple of things. First, there’s a handcrafted “Presskit” link in the QuickLinks portion of the website that will take you to a post archive page that will show only those posts categorized Presskit. The archive page will show the most recent (current) presskit, followed by teasers for several (4) other presskits – so the current presskit is nice and handy. Now, on the old site, once a new show came up, the presskit got overwritten, so if you wanted to take a look at stuff we did last month or last year – you were out of luck. But now – if you want to go back and look at old presskits – you’re more than welcome to. Thus, we create an archive of all of our old presskits.
Categorizing by Season and show will also allow a visitor to follow the posts pertaining to a certain show – or take a look at all the posts on all the shows on a certain season.
