On display in our lobby this show is artwork by Joe Dennison and Michael Gaudreau.

In addition to Joe’s paintings, you might also notice that he is one of the playwights in our Mobtown Playwrights Group!

In our lobby throughout the production of Closer, we are proud to feature the artwork of Rams Brisueño.

Rams is a Baltimore artist with work exhibited in area galleries, Artscapes, cafes and in private collections. His work explores color and texture; myth and forms; and text and memory. By organically letting the work breathe and allowing a sense of whimsy and fantasy, his work comes together—order within chaos—with a sense of compositional unity through space, shape, and color. And he really likes to paint.

“Above all else, it is about leaving a mark that I existed: I was here. I was hungry. I was defeated. I was happy. I was sad. I was in love. I was afraid. I was hopeful. I had an idea and I had a good purpose and that’s why I made works of art.” Felix Gonzalez-Torres.

Special Note regarding the Sunday 12/6 3pm performance: Parts of Falls Rd and The Avenue on 36th Street will be closed from 1pm to 5pm for The Mayor’s Annual Christmas Parade.

Please allow extra time to get to the theatre. The following may be a useful alternate route:

From I83 exit East towards W Cold Spring Ln & Grandview Ave Baltimore, MD 21209

1. Head south on Grandview Ave toward W Old Cold Spring Ln – 0.3 mi
